Dale Ball Trails Maintenance Morning

Please join the Trails Alliance in another morning of trail maintenance and dead tree removal on Sunday, Nov. 7th from 9 to noon. You'll work on the NW side of the Dale Ball where many decaying trees have blown down in our recent wind storms. You'll also do some tread repair and basic maintenance.

Meet in the Dale Ball parking lot at 9. Please wear a Mt. bike T-Shirt or jersey, long pants and hiking shoes. Bring water and gloves (or use some of theirs).

Bike-O-Ween

What: Bike Santa Fe's Bike-O-Ween Celebration
When: Saturday, October 23, 2pm - 8pm
Where: Santa Fe Railyard Plaza (adjacent to 2nd Street Brewery)

On Saturday, October 23, 2010, Bike Santa Fe will host "Bike-O-Ween", our first annual fundraiser at the Railyard. This will be a fun, informative day for families and cyclists. We see this as an opportunity to unite the Santa Fe cycling community, clubs and organizations.

From 2pm-4pm, Bike Santa Fe will host bicycle safety drills for both children and adults.

Dale Ball Trail Tune-up

Dale Ball Trail Tune-up: Sunday, October 24th, 9am to noon. Meet in the parking lot at Sierra del Norte and Hyde Park Rd. We will move dead trees, do some basic trail maintenance and have a good time. Wear long pants and hiking boots, bring gloves if you have them (or borrow ours). Tools provided.

Ride The Divide - Santa Fe screening

Ride The Divide, the award-winning feature-length documentary about the world’s toughest mountain bike race, will make its Santa Fe premiere on Wednesday, October 13, at The Screen at the College of Santa Fe. The film chronicles the story of several mountain bikers who attempt the 2,711-mile race named the Tour Divide along the Continental Divide in the Rocky Mountains. The movie was named the Best Adventure Film at this year’s Vail Film Festival.
